Prayer alerts on my smartwatch

Phones

Watches do not receive alerts until you allow them in the watch's own companion app.

FirdawsWay sends alerts from your phone. Your watch shows them only if the watch's companion app is allowed to forward this app's notifications — that permission is off by default for most apps, on every platform.

Huawei and HarmonyOS watches

  1. Open Huawei Health — or, in FirdawsWay, Smartwatch › Open Huawei Health notifications, which opens it on the page below or on Devices.

  2. Devices › tap your watch › Notifications.

  3. Turn Notifications on, then enable FirdawsWay in the app list.

  4. If the watch stays silent while you use your phone, open Notification mode on the same page and choose to notify on both devices.

Apple Watch

  1. Open the Watch app on your iPhone.

  2. Notifications › scroll to FirdawsWay.

  3. Choose Mirror my iPhone.

  4. Check that a Focus mode is not silencing your watch.

Wear OS and Galaxy Watch

  1. Open the watch's companion app (Galaxy Wearable, Google Pixel Watch, or the Wear OS app).

  2. Notifications › allow FirdawsWay.

  3. On the phone, check FirdawsWay is not excluded from bridged notifications.
