What it does
Turn until it lights up
The compass vibrates and lights up the moment you face the Ka'bah, so you know you are aligned without squinting at a needle.
Honest about accuracy
When your phone's compass reading is unreliable, FirdawsWay says so and shows you how to calibrate, rather than pointing you the wrong way.
Direction and distance
See the Qibla bearing in degrees and how far you are from the Ka'bah, wherever you are in the world.
No signal needed
The direction is worked out on your phone from your location and its compass, so it works in the mountains, at sea or abroad.
Questions people ask
Why does the Qibla point the wrong way?
Phone compasses are thrown off by metal and magnets. Step away from laptops, speakers, car dashboards and magnetic cases, move the phone in a figure of eight when asked, and wait for Good Signal.
Can I use it on my computer?
No. The Qibla finder needs a compass, so it is on phones and tablets that have one. It is not in the Windows or Mac apps.
