Chapters and transcriptSettings › Notifications › tap a prayer under Configure Prayer Alerts.
Turn on Sound, then tap Adhan Sound.
Tap Preview Adhan to hear it before you decide.
- 65 recordings from 26 countries, each named for its muezzin, with his country’s flag beside it.
- At Fajr the list opens with the recordings that add “as-salatu khayrun min an-nawm”, and your chosen muezzin calls his own Fajr adhan when he has one.
- Default — a short adhan.
- System Default — your phone’s own notification tone.

In the appOpen Notifications
The recording downloads once, then plays with no connection.
Windows
On Windows, the alert can only play the adhan built into the app, so a downloaded or imported recording is replaced by that one.
