1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the FirdawsWay application (on Android, iOS, HarmonyOS, Windows, Wear OS, watchOS, or any other platform where we distribute it), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

2. Use of the App

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes. You must not use the app in any way that causes, or may cause, damage to the app or impairment of the availability or accessibility of the app.

3. Accounts & Cloud Sync

Creating an account is optional. If you choose to sign in with Google, Apple, or a one-time code sent to your email address, you are responsible for keeping access to that account secure. Your synced data is stored on our servers and is available only to your account, apart from what the app makes public, such as leaderboard entries, as described in our Privacy Policy. You may delete your account at any time from within the app; our Data Deletion page says what is deleted and what is kept.

4. Purchases and Subscriptions

FirdawsWay is free to use. FirdawsWay Premium is an optional, auto-renewing subscription, offered monthly or yearly at the price shown in the app before you buy. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase.

• The subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless it is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends.
• You can manage or cancel the subscription at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Uninstalling the app or deleting your FirdawsWay account does not cancel it.
• Where a free trial is offered, it is available once per Apple ID or Google account, and any unused part of it ends when you buy a subscription. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription begins and is charged.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies.
• Support Us contributions are optional one-time payments. They are a gift to the developer, not a charitable donation, and they unlock no features.
• Premium that we give away ends on the date shown in the app and never charges you.

5. Your Conduct and Public Content

Your display name and profile picture can appear to other people, for example on leaderboards and in online games. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour: you must not use a name or picture that is offensive, hateful, sexual or impersonates someone, and you must not harass other players. You can report or block another player from the app, and we review reports within 24 hours. We may remove content and suspend or delete accounts that break these rules.

FirdawsWay posts the monthly leaderboard's top players on its own Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube accounts. Only if you say yes — in Settings › Privacy, “Feature me in FirdawsWay's posts”, or when the app asks after a month in the top ten — you allow FirdawsWay to show your display name, profile picture, rank, XP and country flag in those posts, without payment. Without your yes, your place shows only your country's flag and “Player”. You can withdraw at any time in the same switch, which keeps you out of every post made afterwards; to have a post already published taken down, contact support. Say yes only if you are old enough to agree yourself, or a parent or guardian agrees, and only with a name and picture you have the right to use.

6. Intellectual Property

All content included on the App, such as text, graphics, logos, images, audio clips, Quran recitations, translations, and software, is the property of FirdawsWay or its content suppliers and is protected by international copyright laws.

7. Quranic Content

The App provides access to the Holy Quran in multiple recitations (Qira'at), including Hafs, Warsh, Qaloon, and Al-Duri. Quran text, translations, and audio recitations are sourced from reputable Islamic institutions. While we strive for accuracy, we recommend cross-referencing with a physical Mushaf for critical study.

FirdawsAI answers questions using published passages from the Quran, the hadith, the adhkar and the help centre, and shows you the passages it used. Its answers are generated automatically: they are not a fatwa and do not replace a qualified scholar. Please do not include personal or sensitive information in your questions.

8. Prayer Times Disclaimer

Prayer times are calculated based on astronomical formulas and your location coordinates. While we strive for accuracy using established calculation methods, slight variations may occur. It is recommended to add a safety margin of a few minutes or verify with visual observation when possible.

9. Content Attribution

Certain content within the App is used under open licenses. We gratefully acknowledge the following:

• Shahada Audio: The Shahada pronunciation audio is by iSurrender on Wikimedia Commons, licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 3.0 (CC BY-SA 3.0).
• City names and time zones: The places behind the prayer-time pages come from GeoNames, licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0).

10. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "AS IS". FirdawsWay shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of the service.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the app after any such changes shall constitute your consent to such changes.
